My work is an ascent along my inner feelings, which tries to communicate from the soul, a reality that shifts between the constants of knowing and not knowing.
By trying to give shape to eternal desire, searching, cosmic contact, by the medium colour, I can directly express my feelings.
The final strive, the goal of my painting aims towards a symphony of planes and brushstrokes laid down in an exuberant beat. - Miriam Maes
